It was founded in 1770 and is located close to the Arch and the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis. We took a walk across the street from Technical Details our hotel to the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial where the Arch is just as the sun was setting. It turned the arch golden as it sun set in the west. This golden arch is not McDonalds.!
