The Gila Woodpecker and the Gilded Flicker make their home in the Saguaro Cactus by chiseling out small holes in the trunk. These small holes do not damage the Saguaros, rather the Saguaros Technical Details isolates the holes to accommodate the homes of these feathered residents. The largest plants, with more than 5 arms, are estimated to be 200 years old and grow to be 50 feet tall. Captured in Saguaro National Park.
