Description
We stopped for a few captures in the town of Cuervo, New Mexico. The toning here is just as it came out of the camera which looks like a sepia toning has been applied. The old wood has been bleached from the sun and this is all the color that remains.
Technical Details
Between 1901 and 1903, the Southern Pacific pushed through Cuervo and a town was born. When Route 66 came through, the new highway created the additional trade of gas stations and hotels. Cuervo reportedly had a population of almost 300.
